A message from WTMD: Radio for Music People:

WTMD is a Listener Supported National Public Radio (NPR) Affiliate Station.

WTMD is my favorite radio station and I talk about it all the time!  They play lots of new music and plenty of old stuff I can’t hear anywhere else.  All my radio stations are set to 89.7 and www.wtmd.org is bookmarked on my computer so I can listen to their live stream even when I’m away from Baltimore.  They even have an “app” for all you iPhone people!

They are in the midst of one of their fund drives right now.  I have been a member for almost a year now and for this drive I have been at the radio station a few mornings this week answering phones and taking pledges.  I want to be able to more and that is where you come in.

If you are in the Baltimore area and are a WTMD listener, but have never pledged, the time is now!

If you are in the Baltimore area and are not a WTMD listener, tune your radio to 89.7 and start listening now.

If you are not in the Baltimore area, point your browser to www.wtmd.org and start listening via the live stream.

Once you listen, I think you’ll be hooked!  Great music, NPR headlines at the top of the hour, World Café, and a variety of great local shows!

Once you’re hooked, join me and become a member.  Even if you can’t give a lot every little bit helps.  And you’ll feel good knowing you’re doing a good thing.
