I joined NSCS in April 1995 when I was a sophomore at  GW.  Although I didn't fully understand what an honor society was, it sounded like a great opportunity and a great way to become involved.  It was one of the best decisions I made at GW.  I met many great friends through NSCS and have many amazing experiences with NSCS.  The NSCS scholarship fund helps a good number of members afford tuition, study abroad programs, books, graduate school and other expenses.  I've seen this ogranization change lives and want to help even more students get these opportunities.  As of right now, NSCS gives the most scholarship dollars of any undergraduate honor society--more than $250,000.  I want to play a role in helping grwo this fund and changing the lives of college students from our chapters at more than 250 schools in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico!
