Encore Stage & Studio has introduced young people to the wonders of performing arts for almost 40 yearrs. As a teaching theater, Encore is devoted to producing shows by children and teens for audiences of all ages. Encore performs 5 shows annually and provides a variety of classes & workshops throughout the year.

My daughter Reiss has been in involved with Encore for several years and it is just amazing how valuable the experience has been for her.  As an aspiring actress, she has learned a lot about the craft of acting and all the work that goes into putting on a live production,  And  had the opportunity to perform in front of hundreds and hundreds of people during the 5 shows she has been in.

As a kid rapidly growing up, she has learned enormous life lessons as well:  how to deal with rejection, teamwork, responsibility, and poise.  I think I am pretty good at public speakng, but Reis as more stage prescence at 12 than I will probably ever have.

I am also on the Board of Directors of Encore and just think it is a wonderful organization that is really an integral part of the Northen Virginia community.  It is worthy of your support.
