Encore Stage & Studio, and its subsidiary, The Children's Theatre, get kids on started on the right track - you can be part of this.

Life skills, academic enrichment, cultural literacy, and mentoring: these are just a few of the benefits Encore provides the diverse youth population of our metropolitan area.  I know this because my children participated, and because as a youngster, I myself participated in a similar children's theatre.  

Arts, youth, and civic budgets are under stress.  In the face of this, Encore is on a rising trajectory, but it needs your help.  It has hired professional management staff and has earned a spot in the Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington - 2010-2011- as one of the best small charities in the Greater Washington region.  Its budget is sound, its management is strong.  But it needs support from friends like you to make the wonderful programs for kids available to all.
