WTMD is a Listener Supported National Public Radio (NPR) Affiliate Station.

Hey guys, this is Bug, Host of WTMD's "Stuck in the Jam". I think WTMD is truly the best radio station in Maryland and quite frankly, one of the top stations in the country. I love the music we play, wether it's on my show or anyone else's. The station has contributed significantly to our cultural and civic life and I want it to survive and thrive. Not just because i work here, but because i believe so strongly in our mission. Especially because of programs like "Stuck in the Jam", "The TMD Roadhouse", "Altered Friday's"  or "Morning Sessions". These programs are produced right here at WTMD and are original programs that will not be heard anywhere else in Baltimore or really the world. All of us spend so many hours a week listening to new music, and are constantly on a mission to find the most interesting and highest quality tunes we can for our shows.

 Music is an important element in my life and I don't mind paying for the things that make me happy. I know you feel the same way about WTMD, so please join me in keeping WTMD and "Stuck in The Jam" on the air to support new artists—and especially our Baltimore bands—all year long. I'm a member and i hope you will consider becoming one as well.

 First Thursday Concerts in the Park really help to make Baltimore a first-class music city. If you’ve ever been to one of these free shows, you know how important it is to keep them free for everyone! These concerts have significant costs associated with them, but we believe so strongly that Baltimore needs events like these to keep the music scene thriving.
