The Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Oklahoma has launched a Campaign that will honor Bob Barry, Sr., who passed away  October 30, 2011 at the age of 80.  Click for  more information.

This Campaign to endow a $100,000 sports journalism enrichment fund in his name is the perfect tribute to Bob, who was a friend and mentor to so many colleagues and students over the last 50 years.   Click the DONATE  button to the right. 

The Bob Barry Endowment for Student Sports Programs will allow Gaylord College students the opportunity to follow in Bob’s footsteps and report on sporting events away from campus like the NFL and NBA drafts, out-of-town contests, or bowl and championship games. This endowment will make a meaningful difference in the education generations of OU sports journalism students receive.
