A message from WTMD: Radio for Music People:

WTMD is a Listener Supported National Public Radio (NPR) Affiliate Station.

Remember back when The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and The Who were the top selling artists?  Well now we have acts such as Young Joc, Nickelback, and Akon tearing up the airwaves. Now is YOUR opportunity to adjust this stream of music and make radio play once again, worthwhile. 

Why does WTMD deserve money?  Well have you ever turned on the radio and heard that shallow pop song about drinking Criss and wearing Gucci?  WTMD makes its music not only about its listeners, but about the DJ's themselves.  They pick songs that they like, songs that aren't necessarily singles, and songs that have a sense of honesty.  By donating money that you have earned to a radio station that you listen to on YOUR commute to and from work, you are not only supporting WTMD, but you are supporting a revolution in the radio industry.

Also, all of us Howard Countians know that success and philanthropy is are staples in the way we raise our children.  So let's achieve success by being philanthropic and not lose our reigning title!!!!!
