A message from WTMD: Radio for Music People:

WTMD is a Listener Supported National Public Radio (NPR) Affiliate Station.

When I first moved to Baltimore, it took me awhile to meet people and find places to enjoy good music....until I was driving home from a long day at work, scanning the radio for traffic reports and I stopped the dial on 89.7 and that's where it's stayed ever since. I LOVE jumping into my car and being pleasantly surprised by songs on the radio. 

If you've never heard it before, do yourself a favor and jump start your weekend with the WTMD Roadhouse Blues program with John Matthews! (I look forward to it all week!)

I've also really enjoyed the FREE First Thursday Concerts in the Park with my friends over the summer and the cool projects they do with local artists. They've invited me to great new venues and artists in this city that I never would have gone to or see without them. Their commitment to good music and to our community sets them apart from any other radio station. And they need our support to keep it going.
