<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Become a Friend of the Sacramento Philharmonic!</strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In these economic times we all need a little help from our friends.<span> </span>The Sac Phil is no exception.<span> </span>Ticket sales cover only 35% of the costs for our concerts, educational programs and free concerts for families.<span> </span>Two-thirds of the orchestra’s budget comes from grants, special events and donations, from our friends like you.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">You can play your part in making great music possible!<span> </span>Your support brings music to the concert hall, to special events, to schools and to hospitals!<span> </span>Everybody deserves great music.<span> </span>Think of each dollar of your donation as a note in a concerto, a string on a cello or a life touched by the gift of music.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Right now we have 114 friends who have contributed over $45,000 already.<span> </span>Our goal is to have 1000 Friends by June 30, 2009.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Whether its’ $10 or $10,000, supporting the Sac Phil couldn’t be easier.<span> </span>You can donate right here online.</p>

<p>In these economic times we all need a little help from our friends, and the Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra is no exception. The Sacramento Philharmonic is the professional symphonic orchestra for the Sacramento region. As a leading performing arts organization, the orchestra contracts the services of 83 professional musicians and partners with the Sacramento Opera, the Sacramento Ballet and other arts groups to help keep live music alive in our region and business interests and the arts in our city healthy and vital. </p>
<p>Our mission is to inspire audiences, enrich Sacramento through excellent performances of great orchestral music and to touch the lives of people through our music in various ways including community partnerships. We take pride in our community work which includes music education programs that reach students in underserved areas where music education programs would otherwise be non-existent, and most recently, in hospitals where our musicians play for patients, reducing pain and improving their quality of life. </p>
<p>Please create a fundraising page here to encourage your friends and family to support the orchestra and become a "<strong>Friend of the Phil</strong>!"
