Dear Friend,

I am participating in the Carnegie Mellon Dance Marathon on January 22, 2011. It is a campus-wide initiative to raise money for terminally ill children in the greater Pittsburgh area through the Hero Program. Overall, we would like to raise $25,000 dollars to add more Heroes to the program and to aid the already-enrolled Heroes in their daily struggles. The money will provide Hero families with food, fuel, medical equipment, household bills, holiday supplies, mortgages, and more.

I am personally trying to raise $100 toward this worthwhile cause by sending 10 letters to 10 friends and asking for at least $10.
